Let me get this straight. Bill Cosby was accused of sexual assault, and his shows were be taken off TV. His legacy was destroyed. Blacks and whites all over the country joined a straight line to express his guilt despite there being no evidence to support it. He is routinely called a rapist, animal, savage, predator, criminal, and liar by all sides of the press and entertainment. He had very few supporters and those who did support him were lampooned and called stupid. Even when some of his accusers were shown to be liars and opportunists, the overall American society remained on their side. It was believable that he was a rapist because these women said it and we had to trust it. Many of us have just sat in silence and let the circus play out until the court can deal with it. Americans despite how despicable some can be, have the right to their opinion about an individual. So with all that said, please explain how this is different for Rodger Ailes. He has recently been accused of sexually harassing and assaulting women as far back as the late 60's. Women have come out unequivocally stating that he assaulted them when they were 17 years old! How is he given a pass for his behavior? You say he isn't? Well, I say he has been given a pass. In fact, he is not only getting a pass, but he is now in a position to influence all Americans as he works arm and arm with a man that wants to be the next President of the United States! This is ludicrous and insulting. A year ago many Americans were pushing for President Obama to take away the medal that Dr. Cosby received for his civic work in the area of education and entertainment. The President pulled back from this but admonished the charges that Dr. Cosby is facing. He would never ask Dr. Cosby to come and sit on a board with him because he understands that this is inappropriate. Donald Trump, however, has no problem sitting alongside men like Rodger Ailes.

I no longer understand those that claim there is no bias in this country! Please tell me why it always seems to be a white man that gets a pass when these types of crimes happen. Why is it that we criminalize, ostracize, and demonize the black man! Oh, I know what you are going to say: Eddie this is not about race! You are going on a tangent about race, and it is no longer an issue. These type of responses always conjure up other questions in my mind: When is it ever going to be a problem of race to people not affected by the problem? Why do we continually deny the truth in front of our eyes when we see the disparity between how blacks (of all levels) are treated in comparison to whites? Is it that some of us are willfully prejudiced or are we just too afraid to see that racial bias is still OBVIOUS in our society. Many of the people cheering the Rodger Ailes appointment are the same ones that demonized Bill Cosby. I call you hypocrites at the least. I call you a bigot if you are willfully ignoring the obvious bias and are cool with it. All acts of sexual assault and harassment are atrocious and need o be investigated. I may not like the charges against Bill Cosby, but I support anyone's right to seek legal action against anyone that has violated their rights. I accepted the loss of his shows and the running down of his name until the truth is vetted. I may not have agreed, but I understood. I watched teh media today and many tried to avoid the harassment charges against Rodger Ailes. When I look at the treatment of Rodger Ailes I am appalled because yet again it shows that we are a two sided society that allows and supports things based off of a programmed subconscious or conscious bias. I will ask you fairly: If it is not race what is it? Why does it always seem to be a black and white differences? Deny it! Our despicable history shows that it is true. I hate it, but it is true. Many of you deny before you choose to see because it makes you feel better about your place in our society. It is cognitive dissonance at its worst. If you are a truthful American, you should condemn Rodger Ailes in the same way you chose to condemn Dr. Bill Cosby! Be honest and stop the B.S. Wrong is wrong!
